Asphalt instead of forest
Adjusted gravel racecourse – We have slightly adjusted the course for our gravel races. Instead of passing through the forest, the route now takes you from the lowest point of the track at Breidscheid over approximately two kilometers of Nürburgring’s Nordschleife asphalt. Not only can gravel riders go faster there, but also pass the extra Dextro Energy aid station which will be set up in this segment. There you can refill water and isotonic drinks before tackling the long climb up to Hohe Acht on gravel.
Plus: Meters of climbing per lap are reduced to 560 due to the route adjustment, and the course lengths for the respective gravel races now amount to 25 km, 50 km, and 100 km.
