Bombastic booking start – we need a break!
We already had certain expectations/hopes when we started booking for 2025 after Rad am Ring 2024 was so well booked. However, the reality then overwhelmed us once again. First of all, thank you for your trust! And we have to admit that we are overwhelmed with the processing of special requests/enquiries. We have therefore decided to stop bookings until Monday, 21 October 2024.
Our explanation:
It has been part of Rad am Ring’s service for many years that we try to merge large team federations even when the plot selection in the online system no longer allows this. This worked well as long as the entire procedure took several months. Now, however, we have received around 4,500 bookings for 6,000 pitches within two days, with two effects:
- The applications for merging plots did not come in within two months, but within two days.
- The corresponding requests are significantly more extensive, as in principle there were no large, contiguous plots left after just a few hours.
The solution:
- We stop the booking process for 1 week – completely. In other words, we are now working through all the emails/enquiries that have been received so far. This creates a clear booking situation and a clear online offer of remaining plots.
- The re-start for everyone will be on Monday, 21 October 2024 at 9:00 am.
- Our phone will remain silent in the meantime and emails from now until the re-start will not be processed.
We would like to apologise for not being able to fully cope with the rush. However, we think the current emergency solution is fair. We will be ready again for 2026.
