Bundesliga action at the Ring

Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz returns as sponsor

As the fifth out of eight races, Rad am Ring once again features in the German Rad-Bundesliga (national cycling league). The pros will take to the course early Sunday afternoon, completing five laps of the Nordschleife, with its 22 kilometers and 500 meters of elevation gain. The three sprint and three mountain classification points promise particularly exciting action – but the demanding course will surely keep both riders and spectators on edge from start to finish.
This race is made possible by Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate), returning as sponsor:
“It’s becoming increasingly difficult and expensive to organize road races for cyclists on public roads in Germany. At the Nürburgring, however, we can provide ideal conditions relatively easily – and thanks to Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, we also have the necessary funding. On behalf of the cycling community, we are grateful to Lotto,” says Rad am Ring organizer Hanns-Martin Fraas.
