Instead of Nürburgring: #radamring2020 rocks the net

The past weekend was a rollercoaster of emotions. Because of the cancellation we were actually more in the mood to cry, but in the end you put a big grin on our faces. Because Rad am Ring fell victim to Corona in 2020, but we didn’t let it get us down and rocked the net with our participants.
What happened under the hashtags #radamring2020 and #wirsindradamring in the social networks was simply incredible. In and from all areas of the cycling world, members of the RaR community were able to experience the spirit of Rad am Ring while cycling alone or with friends, 24 hours a day or just for a short time to the ice cream parlor.

Hundreds of posts and tweets in the networks connected the Rad am Ring family at least digitally this weekend. Even pros like Christian Knees reported from the training camp and confirmed: #wirsindradamring.

A lot of real visitors, but of course with enough distance, came to the home base of the Rad am Ring team, which cycled 2021 kilometers around the Nürburgring this weekend. Among others, Karl Platt, five-time Cape Epic winner, who accompanied the MTB faction of Team Rad am Ring around the “Green Hell”.

The stream of “visitors” in the Eifel did not want to stop for the whole weekend and there were many hearty “hellos”. But the net filled up mainly through individual initiatives in the form of 24h events, marathons, Everestings and much more. For a good cause or just for fun, bike rides all over Europe and even more distant places brought the We Are Rad am Ring feeling to life in an unforgettable way.

For this and for the support in the last months the team of eventwerkstatt says in the name of the whole Rad am Ring team once again from the bottom of its heart: THANK YOU !

We are already looking forward to opening the registration for Rad am Ring 2021 (July 23-25, 2021*) in October!
