Market launch and test week for the AVONA Velum
At the end of October, the new bicycle brand AVONA launched its third bike (previously gravel and MTB), the AVONA Velum road bike. Initial promotions and positive reactions can be followed online:
At Rad am Ring, Philipps Bike Team sports director Yvonne has already tested a prototype and was so impressed that we have now ordered 80 AVONA road bikes for our Mallorcan fleet.
But that’s not all: from 11 to 18 April 2026, we are organising an exclusive AVONA test week at our location in Playa de Muro. Anyone interested in this Philipps Bike Team week can obtain a code from AVONA (procedure to follow in the next newsletter) and then get the road bike free of charge for a week.
Under the motto ‘Testing for everyone’, AVONA is also providing a fleet of AVONA Velum bikes in Playa de Muro, which can then be tested by the hour during the week. AVONA representatives will be on site to answer any technical and commercial questions. Yvonne Margraf will also be there to share her experiences. She has been riding the Velum in Mallorca since this autumn.
