Wahoo on board
German Gravel Championship
Great news for our gravel community: Wahoo Fitness has extended its partnership with Rad am Ring for another year and expanded its sponsorship to include the 2026 German Gravel Championship.
“Continuing a partnership is always something special,” says Hanns-Martin Fraas, Head Organizer of Rad am Ring. “It’s one thing to find a strong partner – it’s another to keep building on a collaboration that has proven successful. From day one, working with Wahoo has been cooperative and built on trust.”
In 2026, the German Gravel Championship will take place at the Nürburgring. Final coordination with German Cycling (formerly BDR) is still ongoing, but current plans foresee a 125 km race for men and a 100 km race for women. The event will remain open to international riders, and prize money will stay at 2025 levels. Once all details are confirmed, already registered participants will be able to switch disciplines free of charge if desired.
In addition to the championship races, there will also be a 50 km Gravel Race open to amateur riders.
