From Mallorca to the Ring: Camp program takes shape

The starting signal for the new cycling season has already been given on Mallorca. On February 9 our new partner Philipps Bike Team (PBT) officially started their camps on the Balearic Island. Rad am Ring boss Hanns-Martin Fraas took the opportunity to fly there to refine the program for the RaR-Camp from April 13 to 20 – and to collect a few sunny kilometers in the saddle before the hot planning phase starts at the Nürburgring. At least the first intend was realized quite successfully. One thing is certain now: The night training will take place on Tuesday. The 24-hour participants and everyone else who is interested can try out what it feels like to ride a bike in the dark – including test possibilities for various lighting systems. As it is rest day on Wednesday, Rad am Ring will then sponsor a keg of beer to discuss the insights gained. By the way, insights are already conveyed on camp Monday: at a casual information event with tips from experienced participants on riding technique, tactics, adjustment of the bike and riding load, the RaR team on site will furthermore answer questions on organizational matters on the Ring. And they’ll do so also gladly after the official lecture with a drink at the bar. Further information can be found here on our website.
