Participant information: Update 2

Dear participants and friends of Rad am Ring,

there is still a lot of “activity” on our e-mail inboxes, so we would like to answer more questions with this Update 2.

Your reactions: Thank you very much!
We are happy about your pleasent e-mails/posts and the good wishes – thank you very much. Thank you also for your support. At the moment we are close to the average refund rate we hoped for. This is also due to the fact that unexpectedly many of you leave the whole amount to us. In this context, an incredible number of ideas came up how we could show our gratitude. We collect this, hope for an overall successful completion of the refund process (see also message “alternative way”) and then check all suggestions and ideas for organizational feasibility.

Our partners help: Roadbike subscription and ePaper for free
As a partner of Rad am Ring 2020, Roadbike magazine, like the participants, is naturally saddened by the fact that it is not possible to see them live this year. As a small consolation, Roadbike is giving all participants 2 magazines of Roadbike as an ePaper without any further obligation, i.e. automatically ending. The cycling season is finally in full swing and cycling and training is fortunately still allowed. This promotion is exclusively for the participants and friends of Rad am Ring. You can access the campaign via the this link.

The 24h participants, who have taken out a free annual road bike subscription with their booking (see here), will be provided with reading material as announced there despite the cancellation of the race. We are happy about the continuing support of our media partner and say also on behalf of the participants: Thank you!

Too little choice in the reimbursement options: Alternative Way
From time to time we receive e-mails from teams who cannot agree on the refund rate. Here is the following suggestion: You type “full refund” in the system and then each team member can transfer his individual waiver amount to the eventwerkstatt GmbH account DE60 6005 0101 0008 1804 41 at BW-Bank Stuttgart.
Change of bank data: send an e-mail
You can no longer change your bank details in the system yourself. If you wish to be refunded to a new or alternative account, you must send us an email to service@radamring.de. Please include your name, team name, race number, registration code and the new bank details.

MTB-Marathon/ Public Races: Wind of Change
We already explained in the last update that we can’t and don’t want to accept new bookings for the public races and MTB marathon distances which are still in the planning stage. Of course we are happy that the interest in cycling events is increasing again. However, the initial situation has not changed. We do not yet know the exact conditions under which we may organize races in July (or possibly August). As long as there is uncertainty here, we will not open any booking systems. However, we are also feeling the changes and are optimistic that in two months we will have a corona situation in which one can be responsible for organizing bike races.

Sportograf
Some of you have directly booked the photo flatrate at sportograf with your registration. We will refund this amount in any case completely. Of course the boys and girls are not doing well either. Maybe you have a look at www.sportograf.com.

Best and sporty regards
Your Team Rad am Ring
