Starting place transfer between participants – What you need to know!

Would you like to take over the starting place of another participant? To avoid fraud, please follow the steps below:

This is how the starting place transfer works:

• Check the registration confirmation:
  Make sure you are shown the registration confirmation of the previous participant. This is proof of a validly booked starting place. Never make a payment in advance without having seen it first!

• Check the start list:
  Also check whether the person is listed in our official starter list (Rad am Ring – registration service at eventwerkstatt GmbH).

• Confirmation by the original participant:
  The previous participant must send an e-mail to service@radamring.de. This should include
  • a copy of the registration confirmation as an attachment
  • state the name of the new participant
  • clearly confirm the transfer of the starting place

• Details of the new participant:
  The new participant also sends an email to service@radamring.de with their full details:
  Name, date of birth, address, contact details and emergency contact (if not already included in the confirmation email).

• Processing fee & confirmation:
  Upon receipt of both emails, we will transfer the starting place. There is a processing fee of €10.00, which will be included in the new registration confirmation.
  Both parties will receive a separate confirmation of the successful transfer.

Important: Without a direct e-mail from the original participant, no starting place will be transferred!
